Winter Remedies Herbal Workshop

On this workshop you will learn the best remedies for winter wellness and for fighting off seasonal ailments. You’ll experience how to make natural remedies that are vital for this time of year, the best herbs to keep to hand, and how to use them to stay healthy, happy and warm!

You’ll get to see and taste the herbs we discuss, help make some of the remedies, get answers to any questions you may have and will come away ready to face the winter!

  • Making a herbal cough syrup, a healing lip balm and warming herbal infusions.
  • The medicinal uses of common wintertime spices and other useful herbs for this season.
  • Caring for your digestion and keeping your immune system strong.
  • Herbal remedies for colds and flu, coughs, indigestion, heartburn, hangovers, stress, insomnia, cold hands and feet, cracked lips and more.

 

You will also receive a free handbook containing everything covered in the workshop and some essential winter remedies to take home with you, including some you’ll have helped make on the day!

Fees & Booking:

Cost: £48 for the workshop which includes learning materials, handbook and herbal samples. Lunch is not provided (there are some nice cafés nearby or you can bring a packed lunch to eat). Teas and coffee will be provided during the day.

The workshop will be held at Chepstow Therapy Rooms (part of Gestalt Centre Wales). It is within easy walking distance of both bus and railway station and there are several town car parks nearby.

The workshop will be led by Mark P. Jack BSc(Hons) MNIMH, a medical herbalist practising in Chepstow. Mark holds an honours degree in herbal medicine and is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
